Bairnsdale: By far the biggest town in the local area, Bairnsdale & the nearby East Bairnsdale are located off the Princes Highway, split by the Mitchell River. Bairnsdale includes a regional hospital, schools, multiple sporting grounds and all of the trimmings of a contemporary city.
Wy Yung: With a name derived from the local indigenous word for wild duck, Wy Yung is a popular suburb to build in. A northern suburb of Bairnsdale, Wy Yung is a residential area with ample access to all the area has to offer, including the rolling green hills that are typical for the region.
Lakes Entrance: As the name suggests, Lakes Entrance is another coastal town that acts as a gateway into the flat water of the Gippsland Lakes. Lakes Entrance lies behind a thin peninsula that includes the famous Ninety Mile Beach, offering miles of uninterrupted sand and beach access.
Paynesville: With access to the protected, clear waters of Eagle Point Bay, Paynesville is well known for its’ waterside living. The process of building with GJ Gardner was so much easier than I thought it would be. We were dealing with people that were friendly and caring about our situation. They were very good at their job and any changes to the plans were no problem. The workmanship is fantastic and we were able to use some local tradies which we appreciated. We nearly feel guilty as to how easy our build was.
We’ve been living in our G.J. Gardner home for about a month now and it’s fantastic. Our scheduled completion date has only just passed so it finished about a month ahead. The whole team to deal with were fantastic. We were sent updates on the house weekly (or whenever there was an update) and nothing we asked for or about was too much trouble. We always thought building would be stressful, but the G.J. team made the process a breeze. Big thanks to the team for our beautiful family home.
The whole process was smooth and stress free from start to finish. Quality products and quality service. Any complications were solved quickly with a friendly chat and without issue. Change of mind or ideas were easy and staff offered small changes which has made all the difference. Final cost was nearly spot on!
